Welcome to Purr Diem! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Purr Diem mobile application ("App," "Service," or "Purr Diem") provided by Coal Snap ("we," "us," or "our").
Important: By downloading, installing, or using Purr Diem, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
By accessing or using Purr Diem, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coal Snap.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Purr Diem. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Purr Diem on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

Purr Diem offers optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By purchasing a subscription:
We may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the end of the free trial:
You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your paid period.
All sales are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
The lifetime purchase option grants you perpetual access to premium features for the lifetime of the App on devices you own or control. "Lifetime" means:
You retain all rights to the content you create in Purr Diem, including:
Your data is stored locally on your device and, optionally, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your expense data. You are responsible for:
While we strive to provide reliable data storage, we are not responsible for any loss of data due to:
Important: We strongly recommend regularly exporting your data (Premium feature) and maintaining device backups.
You agree to use Purr Diem only for lawful purposes. You will not use the App to:

While we strive for accuracy in all calculations (budgets, per diems, totals), we do not guarantee that calculations are error-free. You are responsible for verifying all calculations before relying on them for important decisions, tax filings, or reimbursement claims.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coal Snap shall not be liable for any:
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Purr Diem shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coal Snap, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Purr Diem, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Coal Snap and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
"Purr Diem" and the Purr Diem logo are trademarks of Coal Snap. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the App without any obligation to compensate you.
The App may be subject to export control laws and regulations. You agree not to export or re-export the App in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coal Snap regarding Purr Diem.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, or failures of third-party services (e.g., Apple services).
